The Come Up Group (CUG) is committed to educating and empowering both current & aspiring entrepreneurs of color, in all industries across NC. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful vehicle for achieving sustainable prosperity, bridging opportunity gaps, creating generational wealth, and fostering societal progress. Entrepreneurship creates space for individuals to reach their full potential and shape their own success stories, paving the way for the economic empowerment of future generations.

Pillar 1

Pillar one, provides entrepreneurs with a tangible asset that can serve as a source of passive income, equity, & stability. Property ownership not only diversifies their investment portfolio, but also offers opportunities for business expansion. By owning property, they gain not only a valuable asset but also a source of financial security. Additionally, real estate investments can serve as a platform for launching and scaling their own businesses. Whether it’s leveraging property, utilizing rental income, or accessing equity for expansion, our focus on real estate empowers these women to build wealth, create opportunities, and make meaningful contributions to their communities. We invest in real estate properties in the Triangle, Triad, and Sandhill regions of NC.

Pillar two, is essential for equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of business ownership. By offering targeted programs in management, finance, and cultural competency, The CUG ensures that entrepreneurs have access to resources that empower them to make informed decisions, adapt to market trends, and effectively manage their ventures.

Pillar three, plays a crucial role in the growth and development of entrepreneurs by providing them with guidance and support from experienced industry professionals. Through mentorship programs, aspiring entrepreneurs can learn from the successes and failures of seasoned mentors, gain valuable insights into their respective industries, and build networks that open doors to new opportunities.

Pillar four, provides a cornerstone of entrepreneurial success. It allows individuals to connect with like-minded peers, potential clients, and investors. By facilitating networking events and platforms, the CUG enables entrepreneurs to expand their professional circles, exchange ideas, seek advice,& access resources that contribute to their growth.

I have been lucky enough to attend several KBDB3 functions. Their events and people are focused on finding ways to encourage you to think about the world around you and how you fit in. They use talks, music, film, and discussions to help you gain a broader understanding of social issues and recognize ways to impact change in yourself and others. Most importantly; their positivity, fun and relaxed atmosphere give you inspiration and motivation to carry on the discussions with others and to act on doing and being better!
